This client renovated the entire main floor of their home to create a gourmet chef’s kitchen and open plan layout that included a cozy, functional family room,  relocated / replaced old living room fireplace / mantel, with a 3-sided gas fireplace between living room and dining room, making it visible from several rooms; and incorporated many family heirloom art and furniture pieces. Their view of the beautiful Sumas Prairie that had been blocked by a door and wall was opened up by installing a large picture window, making the view visible from the front door, living room and kitchen. Continuous flooring throughout the space provides visual continuity throughout making the space appear even larger.
